We are pleased to announce that we have signed up to the West Yorkshire Fair Work Charter.

The West Yorkshire Fair Work Charter is an ambitious new initiative to support and celebrate the great employers across our region and has been designed for employers of all sizes and across all sectors, to promote and recognise the positive impact of fair work on businesses and their people.

Fair work can include good pay, fair and flexible working conditions, as well as greater wellbeing, diversity, and social mobility within the workplace. It’s about helping you turn your good business into a great one. Some areas covered by the charter are:

Opportunity – Recruitment and progression are inclusive and provide access to flexible working arrangements.

Wellbeing – Providing support for good physical and mental health and wider aspects of wellbeing.

Employee Voice – empowering teams to communicate effectively and make positive contribution to employer success.

Fulfilment – Providing the opportunity to learn and develop.

Many of these criteria are not new things that Simpson Wood have just adopted but have formed part of our practice for our whole existence of over 140 years, along with our commitment to the community and local charities.

We are pleased to be in the company of some great businesses in the region.
