We would like to welcome Ed Russell, the latest member of our team joining the firm’s Business Services Group department. Ed’s role will include the preparation of accounts and tax computations for sole traders, partnerships and companies as he continues his training for the ICAEW ACA qualification.

Ed studied at the University of Leeds obtaining a 2:1 in his Maths degree. He has previously done some work experience at Simpson Wood and we didn’t put him off accountancy! He was obviously keen to become an accountant, as he began his studies whilst still looking for employment, and we are delighted that we were able to offer him this role when it arose.

Ed likes to keep active by training regularly at the gym and playing numerous sports including golf (yet another one!) and tennis. Whenever possible he enjoys taking trips to see as many different parts of the world as he can, next on his list is Canada.
