    Our In the Spotlight series lets you get to know some of our team better. That might be their hobbies, favourite book or what they would take to a desert island with them. This time we’re talking to Sarah who is one of our Audit & Accounts Assistants:

    Q: What is your role at SW and how did you get into a career in the said job role?
    A: Audit & Accounts Assistant. Whilst studying towards my degree (Finance & Accounting) at Huddersfield University, this job was being advertised, as such I applied and was succesful.”
    Q: If applicable what did you do before SW?
    A: Worked at Pinderfields General Hospital as a Ward Clerk whilst studying at university..
    Q: What are we likely to find you doing on a day-to-day basis?
    A: Helping complete audit work
    Q: What kind of problem might you solve on a typical day / week?
    A: Excel formulas.
    Q: What’s the most rewarding part of your job?
    A: Helping the wider team
    Q: Tell us what makes SW different…
    A: In busy periods we all pull together to help one another. It creates a good team ethos
    Q: What three words do you think (hope!) your colleagues would use to describe you?
    A: Helpful, hardworking, talkative (probably)
    Q: What’s your favourite spot in Yorkshire and why?
    A: Flamborough as I have many happy memories here
    Q: What’s your party trick?
    A: I don’t really have one!
    Q: Favourite chocolate/sweet/food etc?
    A: White toblerone
    Q: Favourite book/podcast/tv show/film?
    A: Desperate Housewives
    Q: Name something off your bucket list?
    A: I have always wanted to visit the 7 wonders of the world.
    Q: Favourite/dream holiday destination?
    A: Bora Bora
    Q: Role model/inspiration?
    A: I don’t really have a celebrity role model but tend to find inspiration through the people I meet or work with. People that encourage your development and help you be the best version of yourself is what inspires me.
    Q: If you were stuck on a desert island what 3 objects would you take?
    A: Cards, radio & a toblerone (white!)
    Q: Tell us a surprising/fun fact about yourself
    A: I don’t really have any
    Q: If you could learn a new skill what would it be?
    A: Another language
