Yesterday the combined team of Simpson Wood and Simpson Wood (Financial Services) took part in the One in a Million charity 5-a-side tournament in Bradford. The tournament, sponsored by Schofield Sweeney was a celebrity/amateur affair with a few ex-pros in the One in a Million Celeb Team showing us how it was done and taking home the trophy.

We had to endure the agony of a penalty shoot out for 3^rd place, and Luke proved to be our man of the match by saving the opposition’s penultimate penalty and then going on to score the winning one! Our team did us proud, coming third with Ramsdens taking the second place spot.

Overall it was a good enjoyable day for a very worthwhile cause and most importantly we enjoyed taking part.
