Simpson Wood and Eaton Smith played in an inaugural golf match between the two firms on 13 August at Fixby Golf Club.  The event featured 10 players representing each firm, playing in pairs in a match play format.  Sadly Simpson Wood were very much humbled by the quality of golf which Captain Mike Webb managed to inspire from his team, however it was generally agreed that Simpson Wood won the fashion stakes!

A meal and plenty wine was laid on for all competitors in the evening and the result was soon forgotten.
