Refunds are being offered to donors who may have been charged more than was necessary by the Office of the Public Guardian to apply to register Lasting or Enduring Powers of Attorney between 1 April 2013 and 31 March 2017.  The maximum refund that can be claimed for each POA is £54.

Please visit www.gov.uk/power-of-attorney-refund for more details and to make a claim.

Claims can be made online by the donor or attorney and you will need details of the donor’s UK bank account and a copy of the POA.

If you have any queries, or need a further copy of your POA to be able to make a claim, please contact Nichola McNally.
