Financial Planning & Wealth Management
Helping you organise, grow and protect your wealth through disciplined, discretionary investment strategy and long-term financial planning.
Many of our clients have complex personal commitments and financial lives, with business interests, property, investments and family responsibilities all playing a part. We are well versed in what this means for your life, and we take the time to understand your full picture, so we can ensure that decisions are made with you and your legacy at the centre.
Financial planning and the management of complex affairs rarely sit within a single discipline. Investment decisions affect tax exposure, business interests shape retirement planning, and family priorities influence how wealth and assets are managed and eventually transferred.
For that reason, our private client services draw together expertise from across Simpson Wood. Alongside personal tax and estate planning, we work closely with colleagues in financial planning, wealth management and advisory services where appropriate, providing a joined-up approach with you at its centre.
This close coordination ensures that decisions are not taken in isolation and are part of a coherent, long-term strategy shaped around your circumstances and priorities.
Managing personal wealth successfully requires thoughtful preparation, long-term thinking, regular oversight and the discipline to consider consequences as well as immediate opportunities.
Our role is to help provide that structure. Through careful planning and clear, expert advice, we support you in maintaining oversight of your position and in making decisions that remain sound as life and circumstances evolve. Whatever your priorities, our approach is grounded in careful judgement and long-term thinking.
We work with individuals and families whose financial affairs require thoughtful coordination, including families with generational interests, business owners, professionals, investors and those planning for retirement or succession.

No. Whilst many of our clients do own businesses, we also support individuals and families with investment portfolios, property interests, and complex personal financial affairs.
At the moment, we do not provide some of the services more traditionally associated with family offices, such as the concierge management of travel and personal affairs, or the arrangement and management of household staff beyond payroll and workplace pensions and benefits. We do offer all other aspects, however, such as investment management, tax planning and structuring, estate and intergenerational wealth planning, corporate and business advisory services, and administration and financial coordination; Many clients now prefer to employ individual consultants to fulfil the more personal side of concierge services.
