Adam Piplica is a Financial Planner at Simpson Wood, helping clients clarify their financial priorities and put robust, practical plans in place to achieve their long-term goals. He has a particular passion for retirement income planning, supporting clients to move into retirement with confidence, security, and the freedom to enjoy the lifestyle they have worked hard to build.
Alongside his professional work, Adam is an accomplished classical singer, specialising in Baroque repertoire, with regular performances across the UK and Europe. This disciplined and detail-focused practice mirrors his approach to financial planning: careful preparation, technical precision, and confident execution.
Danny is a general practitioner, dealing with a wide range of business clients, covering a whole variety of services that they require.
He joined the firm as an accounts trainee in 1997 after graduating from York University. After qualifying in 2000 and three more years as an audit senior, he was made a partner in 2003 and became managing director in 2023. He has been involved in all areas of the business throughout his career having been in charge of audit, IT and marketing. He is also our most prolific poster on social media and is also the firm’s specialist on the audit and accounts of academy schools.
Outside of work Danny has previously studied music and four different languages, but freely admits to forgetting most of them; don’t ask him to say anything beyond “Hello” or “Two beers please” these days!
He enjoys spending time with his friends and family (wife Gill and sons Scott and Jack), attending both Huddersfield Town / Giants matches when he can. At home he enjoys cooking, and sitting down in front of the TV with the occasional glass or three of red wine!
