CLIENTS PROBLEM

We have a client where the three shareholder/directors were taking salaries of in the region of £250,000 per annum and paying significant levels of PAYE tax together with the company having a significant employers’ national insurance liability.

OUR SOLUTION

We proposed making some changes to the structure of the share capital enabling tax efficient dividend structure, and the payment of much lower salaries to the individuals together with quarterly dividend payments.

OUTCOME

As a result of our tax planning strategy, the saving for the three individuals in structuring their affairs in this way is in excess of £30,000 per annum.
